Top Grade 1 Reader at Salem Primary school, Arianna Drummond shares with her class during a reading challenge on Read Across Jamaica Day at her school. Listening in are Arianna’s classmates, Sandals Foundation Ambassador, Melissa Gordon and Sandals South Coast Mascot Peter the Parrot. As part of the day’s activities team members from Sandals South Coast visited two schools, read books with the kids and also donated reading books and other school supplies.

“These babies are brilliant!” exclaimed Sandals Negril Guest, Monica Lee. It was Read Across Jamaica Day and Lee and a team of other guests of Sandals Negril, journeyed to ABC Learning Centre in Green Island. She had the children reading the charts in the classroom and was simply impressed.
